部分Linux 用戶看見了gOS 的界面和它預(yù)裝的軟件后可能為認(rèn)為 gOS 是 Google 開發(fā)的 Linux 的發(fā)行版，因?yàn)樗A(yù)裝了大量的Google 軟件，而且界面風(fēng)格也相當(dāng)Google 。其實(shí) gOS 并不是“Google OS”的意思，它也與Google公司沒有任何正式的關(guān)系，gOS 實(shí)際上是“Good OS ” 的意思，由美國的Good OS LLC公司所研發(fā)。它是以前熱賣的Everex 系列的超低價(jià)電腦預(yù)裝的操作系統(tǒng)。

gOS 的提供 iBar 程序條上輕松訪問的 Google 網(wǎng)絡(luò)應(yīng)用程序：GMail 電子郵件服務(wù)， Google 新聞 ， Google Docs在線辦公應(yīng)用 ， Google 日程表 ， Google 地圖 ， YouTube在線視頻 ， Blogger博客服務(wù)等等。 gOS 一直致力于為用戶提供高質(zhì)量的開箱即用的體驗(yàn)，系統(tǒng)對(duì)資源的占用小，操作想對(duì)簡(jiǎn)單，因此在華碩 Eee PC 等 netbook 上使用有較強(qiáng)的優(yōu)勢(shì)。

 Wine
