Redhat 發(fā)布了 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 系列系統(tǒng)的第8的個(gè)升級(jí)修正版本，redhat 做為開源界的領(lǐng)頭羊在發(fā)布每一個(gè)版本的時(shí)候都會(huì)帶來(lái)大量的穩(wěn)定的更新。 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8 包括32位的版本和64位的版本。Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8 主要有以下幾個(gè)方面的改進(jìn)：

    * 提升了虛擬化計(jì)算的性能和規(guī)模；
    * 改進(jìn) Samba 與 Windows 系統(tǒng)之間的協(xié)作性能;

RHEL 4, firstshipped in February 2005, is now in the Production 2 life cycle phase.With this, the focus of product updates in the future will shift awayfrom providing significant code changes and focus on providing criticalfixes and helping customers evolve their IT plans for eventualmigration to RHEL 5.
