Jython 2.2的新增特性及發(fā)布背景介紹

Jython是Python的Java實(shí)現(xiàn)。Jython 2.2版本是07年8月發(fā)布的，距離Jython 2.1版的發(fā)布足足差了6年（Jython 2.1在2001年發(fā)布），而之后兩年之內(nèi)，Jython 2.5版本就誕生了。
Jython 2.2發(fā)布于2007年8月。Jython 2.2版本實(shí)現(xiàn)了Python 2.2 以及 2.3中的功能。
Jython 是Python 的Java實(shí)現(xiàn)。無(wú)縫地結(jié)合了Java類與Python，使用戶能以Python語(yǔ)言的語(yǔ)法編寫在Java虛擬機(jī)上運(yùn)行的程序。
Jython 2.2版本的新特性包括：
new-style classes
Java Collections integration
PEP 302 implementation
iterators
generators
__future__ division
support for running on JDK1.5 and 1.6
new installer
a significant number of features to bring Jython in line with CPython
而這個(gè)Jython 2.2版本之后，Jython小組跳過(guò)了2.3和2.4版本，直接在08年7月發(fā)布了Jython 2.5版本。
