1. /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess 文件，去掉這行的注釋。

2. /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config 文件，注釋掉這一樣。
"Display Manager .Requestport 0"
3./etc/opt/gnome/gdm/gdm.conf文件，[xdmcp]部分，把Enable 改為 true 去掉#Port=177的注釋
4. /etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc文件，[Xdmcp]部分，把enable 改為 true 去掉#Port=177的注釋
5.檢查 /etc/inittab 修改運行級別為5 (X11) ，如果為3的話，你看到的將不是桌面，而是命令行窗口。
init 0(halt,不要將其設置為系統(tǒng)的initdefault)
init 1(single user mode,單使用者模式)
init 2(multiuser,without nfs,多用戶模式,不帶NFS)
init 3(Full multiuser mode,多用戶模式,帶NFS)
init 4(unused，保留)
init 5(X11，圖形界面多用戶模式)
init 6(reboot，不要將其設置為系統(tǒng)的initdefault)

6. 關(guān)閉防火墻
修改防火墻配置文件/etc/sysconfig/ipchains可能是/etc/sysconfig/iptable，
在文件頭部加入如下內(nèi)容，
# If you want to use GNOME/KDE, add the following line.
-A input -p udp -s 0/0 -d 0/0 177 -j ACCEPT
7. reboot
連接：
Xmanager同網(wǎng)段打開Xmanager-broadcast，跨網(wǎng)段在Xbrowser 中輸入IP 即可。
使用Exceed 同一網(wǎng)段XDMCP使用broadcast模式（可自動發(fā)現(xiàn)主機），跨網(wǎng)段使用query。
XManager登錄SuSE的xWindow，root用戶不能登錄，其他用戶都可以
1．/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager里有關(guān)root登錄的項目需要設置---OK
將 DISPLAYMANAGER_ROOT_LOGIN_REMOTE="no"
改為 DISPLAYMANAGER_ROOT_LOGIN_REMOTE="yes"
2、新建文件/etc/rc.config，添加下面一行：ROOT_LOGIN_REMOTE="yes"。
