Fedora 8還是比較常用的，于是我研究了一下Linux Fedora 8，在這里拿出來和大家分享一下，希望對(duì)大家有用。Linux的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，包括Fedora的安裝、磁盤分區(qū)、Linux的基礎(chǔ)操作，旨在讓讀者對(duì)Linux有個(gè)初步的認(rèn)識(shí)。Linux Fedora 8 下安裝 IE6 。

1.安裝準(zhǔn)備

目前，要在 Linux Fedora 8中運(yùn)行 IE，Wine 是免不了的。所以，首先安裝 Wine。另外，在使用 IEs 4 Linux 過程中，會(huì)用到 cabextract 這個(gè)解包小工具。安裝指令如下：
yum -y install wine
yum -y install cabextract

2.Linux Fedora 8安裝 IE

先在/root目錄下創(chuàng)建Desktop的文件夾，安裝過程中會(huì)創(chuàng)建一個(gè)IE的快捷方式。
在 下載 IEs4Linux 后，使用 tar xvzf ies4linux-2.0.tar.gz 解包。然后，運(yùn)行腳本 ./ies4linux。

(1)IE 6 will be installed automatically.Do you want to install IE 5.5 SP2 too? [ y / n ]
如果你不需要安裝 IE 5.5 SP2，則選“n”。
(2)And do you want to install IE 5.01 SP2? [ y / n ]
詢問是否安裝 IE 5.01 SP2。默認(rèn)為“n”。
(3)IEs can be installed using one of the following locales:
EN-US PT-BR DE FR ES IT NL SV JA KO NO
DA CN TW FI PL HU AR HE CS PT RU EL TR
Default is EN-US. Hit enter to keep it or choose a different one:
此處，輸入“CN”，以便安裝 IE 中文版。
(4)By default, I will install everything at /home/xxd/.ies4linux
I will also install Flash 9 plugin and create Desktop shortcuts.
Is that ok for you? (To configure advanced options type n) [ y / n ]
默認(rèn)是安裝在 /root/.ies4linux 中，同時(shí)安裝 Linux Fedora 8 插件，并在桌面上創(chuàng)建快捷方式。

現(xiàn)在，Linux Fedora 8安裝程序會(huì)自動(dòng)連接到 Microsoft 的網(wǎng)站下載所需文件，請(qǐng)耐心等候。假如看到“IEs 4 Linux installations finished!”，就說明 IE 已經(jīng)成功安裝了,你會(huì)在/root/Desktop/下發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)IE圖標(biāo)的快捷方式，yes！
