Samba 是一款實(shí)現(xiàn) Uinx/Linux 與 Windows 系統(tǒng)文件共享、打印機(jī)共享等功能的 SMB 軟件。

Samba 是許多服務(wù)以及協(xié)議的實(shí)現(xiàn)，其包括 TCP/IP 上的 NetBIOS(NBT)、SMB、CIFS(SMB的增強(qiáng)版本)、 DCE/RPC(網(wǎng)絡(luò)鄰居協(xié)議套件)、WINS 服務(wù)器(也被稱作 NetBIOS Name Server(NBNS))、NT 域協(xié)議套件(包括 NT Domain Logons、Secure Accounts Manager(SAM)數(shù)據(jù)庫、Local Security Authority(LSA)服務(wù)、NT-style 打印服務(wù)(SPOOLSS)、NTLM 以及近來出現(xiàn)的改進(jìn)的 Kerberos 協(xié)議與改進(jìn)的輕型目錄訪 問協(xié)議(LDAP)在內(nèi)的 Active Directory Logon 服務(wù))。以上這些服務(wù)以及協(xié)議經(jīng)常被錯(cuò)誤地歸類為 NetBIOS 或者 SMB。Samba 也能夠用于共享打印機(jī)。

Samba 3.5.7 特性：

All current released versions of Samba are vulnerable to a denial of service caused by memory corruption. Range checks on file descriptors being used in the FD_SET macro were not present allowing stack corruption. This can cause the Samba code to crash or to loop attempting to select on a bad file descriptor set.

Fix DoS in Winbind and smbd with many file descriptors open.
