根據(jù)外國科技媒體 Windows Central 的報道，微軟正在將 Android 應用引入 Windows 10 的 Microsoft Store，具體的上線時間尚未確定，Windows Central 表示可能是 2021 年。

微軟希望 Windows 系統(tǒng)跑 Android 應用的愿景最早可以追溯到2014年，當時微軟啟動了 Android 應用移植項目"Project Astoria"和 iOS 應用移植項目"Project Islandwood"進行探索，旨在為開發(fā)者提供將 Android 和 iOS 應用移植到 Windows 平臺 (Windows Phone) 的簡便方法。

到2015年，微軟正式放棄了應用移植項目，原因有兩個，一是 Windows 開發(fā)者對微軟的方案不滿意;二是項目會引入“Android 子系統(tǒng)(Android subsystem)”，并導致 Windows 10 Mobile 的運行速度變慢。

事實上，Windows 10 "Your Phone"應用的最近更新已支持通過流式傳輸在 Windows 10 上運行 Android。

不過從 Windows Central 透露的信息來看，這顯然不是“原生”支持 Android 應用的方案，更大的可能是像文章一開始所說，允許用戶通過 Microsoft Store 獲取可原生運行的 Android 應用。

目前沒有確切的消息介紹微軟如何實現(xiàn)在 Windows 10 運行 Android 應用的計劃，以及它是否支持 Windows on Arm。但考慮到絕大多數(shù) Android 應用都是基于 Arm 設(shè)備而構(gòu)建，因此后者無疑更具意義。
