一、安裝 IBM Systems Director VMControl
以使用安裝程序來安裝 IBM Systems Director VMControl，也可以使用響應(yīng)文件以無人照管方式執(zhí)行安裝。這兩種方法都將同時安裝 IBM Systems Director VMControl 的免費(fèi)功能以及 IBM Systems Director VMControl 映像管理器的 60 天評估許可證。評估許可證到期后，我們可以繼續(xù)使用 IBM Systems Director VMControl 的免費(fèi)功能，并可以購買許可證以繼續(xù)使用 IBM Systems Director VMControl 映像管理器。
（一）安裝 IBM Systems Director VMControl 評估許可證

1、在 ASCII 文本編輯器中打開 installer.properties 文件。
2、借助 installer.properties 響應(yīng)文件中的注釋來修改該響應(yīng)文件。
3、保存修改后的 installer.properties 響應(yīng)文件。

二、安裝用于 NIM 的 IBM Systems Director VMControl 子代理程序
要讓 IBM Systems Director VMControl 管理包含 AIX mksysb 映像的虛擬設(shè)備，在環(huán)境中必須存在經(jīng)過正確安裝和配置的 NIM 主控機(jī)。此 NIM 主控機(jī)必須由 IBM Systems Director Server 發(fā)現(xiàn)、訪問和收集庫存。請使用下列指示信息來正確地準(zhǔn)備 NIM 主控機(jī)。
確保系統(tǒng)符合下列要求：
- 系統(tǒng)正在運(yùn)行 AIX V6.1.3 或更高版本
- 已安裝下列文件集：
dsm.core
openssh.base.client
openssh.base.server
openssh.license
openssl.base
openssl.license
- 已在系統(tǒng)上安裝 Common Agent V6.1.1.1 或更高版本
- 系統(tǒng)已被 IBM Systems Director Server 發(fā)現(xiàn)、訪問并收集庫存
- 系統(tǒng)還必須被配置成 NIM 主控機(jī)系統(tǒng)。要將系統(tǒng)配置成 NIM 主控機(jī)，請運(yùn)行以下命令：
nim_master_setup -a device=路徑 [-a disk=磁盤名稱] -B其中，路徑是 AIX bos.sysmgt 軟件包所在目錄的絕對路徑。（可選）我們可以使用 disk=磁盤名稱屬性來指定用于存放必需的 /export/nim 文件系統(tǒng)的物理卷。例如，如果要將 SAN 用于 /export/nim 文件系統(tǒng)，那么必須使用 disk=磁盤名稱屬性。
注： 運(yùn)行 nim_master_setup 命令可能需要 20 分鐘或更長時間。
- 如果 NIM 映像存儲庫（NIM 主控機(jī)）通過一個網(wǎng)絡(luò)適配器連接到 IBM Systems Director Server ，并通過另一個網(wǎng)絡(luò)適配器連接到我們要部署虛擬設(shè)備的虛擬服務(wù)器，請完成下列步驟以便為部署任務(wù)配置網(wǎng)絡(luò)。
1、登錄到 NIM 主控機(jī)。
2、當(dāng)我們運(yùn)行 nim_master_setup 以配置 NIM 主控機(jī)時，已創(chuàng)建 master_net 網(wǎng)絡(luò)對象以表示與 NIM 主控機(jī)的主網(wǎng)絡(luò)接口相關(guān)聯(lián)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)。如果 NIM 主控機(jī)帶有將用于部署虛擬服務(wù)器的輔助接口，那么我們需要創(chuàng)建一個或多個附加的 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)定義。
注： 請勿定義以另一個 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)對象的名稱開頭的 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)對象名稱。
A、為 NIM 主控機(jī)的輔助網(wǎng)絡(luò)接口定義 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)對象。例如：
nim -o define -t ent -a net_addr=1.2.3.4 -a snm=255.255.255.0 輔助網(wǎng)絡(luò)其中，1.2.3.4 是正在定義的網(wǎng)絡(luò)的 IP 地址，255.255.255.0 是該網(wǎng)絡(luò)的子網(wǎng)掩碼，輔助網(wǎng)絡(luò)是我們正在創(chuàng)建的 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)對象名稱。有關(guān)更多信息，請參閱 IBM Systems 信息中心中的”定義 NIM 網(wǎng)絡(luò)”主題。
